Ghlobal Diaspora Council, the global assembly of Ghanaian community leaders in 34 countries around the world, has called for fairness in the award of tax waivers to business investments originating from beyond the shores of Ghana.
In a statement poster issued by the Policy Committee of the group registered in Ghana as a Civil Society Organization, the question was raised as to why businesses falling under Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) attract tax waivers but those initiated by the Ghanaian Diaspora attracted no such waivers.
