The ROPAL Implementation Strategy Committee (RISC), operating under the auspices of the Ghlobal Diaspora Council’s Legal Committee, held its first meeting with the Electoral Commission’s Chairman of the ROPAL Implementation Committee, Dr. Bossman Asare on Thursday.
The one-hour virtual meeting was attended by RISC members representing Ghanaian communities from all continents. Chaired by RISC Chairman Dr. Kofi Boateng, the meeting touched on the current state of ROPAL and what it would take to proceed with implementation strategies.
Speaking to Ghlobal Communications team after the meeting, Ghlobal Chairman Jermaine Nkrumah expressed satisfaction that the RISC has started on the right footing and that several inherent stakeholders have been identified for additional engagement.
