The first ever coalition of Ghanaians representing communities across the globe completed a highly successful third quarter general assembly meeting last Saturday.
The virtual meeting held at noon GMT attracted representatives from Ghanaian communities in 22 countries from six continents.
The highlights of the meeting included a presentation from Hon Kennedy Osei Nyarko, MP for Akim Swedru, and Oheneyere Augustina Asare Osei on the status of the constitutional amendment that prohibits Ghanaians with dual citizenship from occupying some specific positions in Ghana.
The duo’s presentation and responses to questions were “very elaborate and professional,” said Linda Wayoe, the representative from the UK.
Ghlobal’s 4th quarter general assembly meeting is slated for early November when all 113 delegates representing all 32 represented countries are expected to be in attendance.
